Aikaterini Dimitriadou – Gagaki is Vice Mayor for Social Solidarity and Civil Society, responsible for the Division of Social Solidarity as described in the Internal Service Organisation of the City of Athens, with the exceptions of the Department of Support and Social Integration of Migrants and Refugees and the Department of Equality policies and Discrimination. She is also responsible for the Programmes of the European Aid to the Most Deprived (TEBA), the “Housing and Work” Programmes of the Ministry of Labour, NSRF programmes for expanded Community Centers, as well as the promotion of cooperation with Civil Society and support of actions with social partners, groups, institutions and associations. When the Vice Mayor for Social Solidarity and Civil Society is absent or indisposed, she is substituted by Vice Mayor Ms. Anna Rokofyllou.

Katerina Gagaki is a communication expert. She started her career as a Psychologist. She has specialized knowledge in Perception Management and Brand Image Βuilding and many years of experience in Corporate Communication, as a senior executive in Greek and multinational companies and Non-Profit Organizations. In this framework, she served for many years as Director of Communications at Vodafone and for a decade as the Strategic Communications Manager of all Antenna Group companies internationally. She then became in charge of the communication strategy of the NGO Apostoli. Today she is active as a Strategic Communication and Reputation Management Consultant to major companies in Greece and Cyprus, as well as an Image Management Consultant to entrepreneurs and personalities in the media industry. At the same time, she is a radio producer and a website columnist. She has studied Psychology and pursued postgraduate studies in Social and Organizational Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science and in Perception Management at New York University.
